I recently installed a remote start/alarm system and have no need for the switchblade key, I would like to just get a normal key cut to minimize the bulk of keys I have to carry. I've tried multiple locksmiths and no one has a transponder key that will work for my 2010 3. Does anyone know the OEM part number I can order for a normal key with a transponder built in. Right now I just have a steel key cut and rely on the remote starter to start my car each time, not the best method but it works for now

You can get extra key for your car by taking help from an auto locksmith. You just have to provide all the information about your car and they will help you.Prepare the following information for your auto locksmith: Make and model of your vehicle; Registration number of your vehicle;Vehicle identification number; Postcode of where you are, should you require a emergency locksmith to come to you. You can also use Oak Lawn Locksmiths Service for any help regarding lock systems.
