Are the exterior window trim for 2014 model the same for 2017? Im planning on replacing the upper and lower exterior door trim of my 2017 and wondering if the 2014 would fit as it is cheaper. Would it be the same regardless off year model? And i heard that the lower exterior trim when removed would not fit snug. Can i just replace its clips or the only option is to buy the whole thing again?

Should be the same. I had the chrome strips on my 2015 and replaced them with the flat black pieces. Had Achilles Mazda in Milton, Ontario do it as they offer a discount for certain Mazda3 owners. So far no problems.

They should be the same. The exterior differences only covered the front end & rear hatch bumpers
