I was just talking to my buddy who did a muffler delete and added a resonator to his car, it really opened up his car, and made it sound amazing. How many people have done this vs buying a 500-600 dollar prefab kit? If you had a exhaust shop modify the stock exhaust system, what did you have done... Any problems, regrets?

I did this to my 2010 Mazda 3 2.0L, cut the pipe before the muffler and just let it dump under the car, sounds amazing. Not too loud to wake up the neighbors but loud enough to turn heads once it warms up. No regrets
