Hey everyone!

I was driving yesterday on a highway, when I ran out of petrol.
At first car dropped RPM from 5.5K to ~4K when I was accelerating, and then after a while it just stopped.

But I started worrying when I saw Engine Check light. I looked in car manual, and it said that Engine Check may light on when there's extremely low amount of fuel, so I thought it will disappear after I fuel up.

I had ~2.5L of fuel with me, so I used it, and then after ~10 km I fueld up full tank.
However the Engine Check light didn't go away for another ~100-200 km.

Right now Engline Check light is disabled, however I have some concerns regarding why it was still lighting for quite some time. Should I worry, or if went away - everything's fine?

In most cases the CEL comes on as soon as a problem triggers it, but it`s got to go through "X" amount of start/run cycles after the problem is gone to read and confirm that the problem is in fact corrected.
