I was short on time, so never got the rad out like I wanted to. Was trying to clean it out due to my previous sediment issues. Ended up running 3 jugs of deionized water through it while still in the car.

So checked the service manual and it says to remove air filter box, overflow tank, disconnect wiring and remove fan assembly. Got that far no trouble. But then there's these two bolts on top securing the rad to the AC condenser. Manual says to pull towards the engine to get at the bolt heads. Ok that doesn't work. The rad filler just collides with the intake manifold before you can get enough room to fit even a box wrench in there. No getting my fingers in there and I have pretty small hands.

As I said, ran out of time and bailed out on that idea for now. Was hoping someone here would have the details on this one? Thanks. Would be nice if there's a way without removing the intake manifold but I think that's how it'll go.
