I was doing a tire rotation and noticed that the dust cover for the front shocks were disconnected from the bottom and just hanging there. I wasn't quite sure if this is normal or not since it was on both sides. I've attached a pic of what it looks like. Also yes, its quite dirty, I basically drive through a mud pit for work :(

That's normal.

You can zip tie it to the bottom if it bothers you.

Thank you, I'll probably get some hose clamps large enough for it then. I couldn't find any information and for the life of me couldn't remember how it was when I put on the springs.

I would be worried that the metal clamp edge would wear through and tear the boot. Just let it be. Once the car is on the ground gap will be gone.
