Hi,

I started noticing a very annoying rattling noise under the driver's seat (like if scotch would be scratching the carpet or as if a cable would be vibrating against something). I'm certain the rattle is not coming from the B-Pillar area, seatbelt or driver's door panel.

I tried to fix the problem by securing firmly all the cables under the seat but the rattling still happens only when drying in bad / uneven roads. I am unable to replicate the noise when the car is standing still.

I am pretty much out of ideas here, anybody experienced this same issue?

Thanks for any suggestions or advise.

Update! Took my car to the third party company which installed the anti-theft mechanism in my car.

It turns out that the rattling noise was coming from the corner where the fuse box is located, as many cables were not secured properly. After redoing the cable management and securing them properly the rattling noise has vanished completely (I hope it lasts a long time).

Therefore the rattling was not coming from under the driver seat as I thought it was...
