Hi, i purchased my first Mazda about 3 months ago. A 2004 Mazda 3 s with 107k miles. I really like the car but about a after a month of owning it i got the CEL code P0421 - "Warm Up Catalyst System Right Efficiency Below Threshold" Feels like I'm losing some power and my gas mileage is not great.
From everything i read on this issue, i gather my two cheapest options are A- gut the cat or B- buy headers. Option A is not really an option, so I'm going B. My problem is i do not know a ton about this stuff so have no idea which headers i need.
This has been stressing me out to no end. If anyone had some links to a few options that would be fantastic. Thanks a ton.
