Door lock issue

Just noticed on my 2013 3, that the interior door lock buttons dont work on either side. The fob works fine, and the central locking works on all doors. Seems strange that both buttons on the doors are inoperable. I checked the fuse, it is good. No sounds when pressing lock or unlock. Any ideas?

It's possible that someone took off the interior door cards and forgot to plug the harness back in when they put it back together. On my car, someone removed the passenger door card and forgot to unplug the door lock wiring. Tore the connector right off the end of the harness.

Would the FOB still work tho? Removing the door card will be necessary either way. Be sure to unscrew the handle/lock part before pulling the card up or off. if it’s like the gen4, you might break the actuator like I did otherwise.
