I am planning on getting an oil change done here soon. I talked to my families mechanic/oil change place and they did not know if the 2010 has a plastic housing cap or not.

Does anyone know?

They are also having troubles finding a oil filter number in their computer, any idea on a good one?

I am 100% sure that the 2.5 has a spin on filter, and 99% sure the 2.0 has a spin on filter as well. I had no trouble finding the proper filter in the books hanging at the parts store. If anything I would say you can conctact your local dealer and find out from them as they would be 100% sure on proper filter. You can buy OEM filters online around 5 bucks a piece.

FRAM Part # PH3614

There is like 5 different levels of FRAM filters, the "best" one being Double Guard. They all have different letters at the front, but the "3614" is the same across the board for your car.

also if it helps looking up in the computer, the 2010 uses the same filter as the 2009 model. Some computer software hasn't been updated to the new model yet but it will be the same.

it is indeed spin on, no special wrench needed. but im not sure if its just my car or if its everyone, but my oil filter hole on the plastic case does not line up with the actual oil filter, so just be wary of that

excellent information!! I too use the Mobil 1 filter.

2.0/2.5 uses the same filter.
