Just bought a 2014 Mazda 3 I grand touring hatch 2.0. It has the stock 16" wheels on it now. Found and purchased a nice set of the stock mazda 18x7" wheel that comes on the S GT model. Would it be safe to assume that if I run the stock size P215/45R18, that it will mount right up without any interference or other issue?

Will the speedometer need to be recalibrated after this swap, and is that even possible on this car? I appreciate any input!

As long as the tire is within the same diameter of the stock tires. your stock size diameter is 652.4mm. With the 18 and the 215/45 you'll be at 650.7mm. Which according to the calculator its about 0.26% difference. Which is very small, therefore you will not need a speedo calibration. Unless you decide to go with some crazy tire size.
