Hello all,

After many hours of searching over the last year I am wondring why there is no tutorial/avaiable hardware that allows to install a different ECU map. I read many times that the motors of the europian G120 and G165 have the same hardware. Some local tuning workshops offer a chip tuning at high prices to improve the performace of the G120.
Is it possible to do the chip tuning alone? I don't want to change my car into a race car or super car. But I want to get the maximum possibility that the hardware has.

Sure you can, if you know how to tune.

MazdaEdit software + Tactric OP2.0 cable will do the job.

Thanks for the reply. I came to that result once. However, this software seems to be quite expensive (around 200 Euros) as I remember. To that I couldn't find a place to download the original G165 files to flash my car with.
Can you help me with more information

I've got a M3 2017 G120,

Same as you, I searched info during the last year for the same need. I hardly failed.

Well, these things are not free. The Tactrix alone is ~$200.
