Hey everyone, i decided to convert my interior lights to LEDs recently and made a video of the process. I dont think its necesary to spend $50 on a kit as i was able to get my interior lights and license plate lights for under $7 total. Look around on ebay and you can find packs of 10 lights for under $3. Anyways i hope you enjoy the video :D

Process to go along with the video:
- Small flathead screwdriver to pop off light covers (make sure you pop from proper side)
- Test polarity of light and install new lights
- Test installed light prior to closing cover
- Close cover, enjoy more light :D

Thanks mate! That’s handy, as was just thinking to change those myself!

Would you know what type of “bulb” I’d need to order for each? What about the footwell?

I used 31mm 5050 4LED SMD interior dome lights and they fit perfectly for the map lights and dome light. I havnt done the light in the trunk yet though. As for the footwell lights, i created those myself by wiring up about 1ft of LED strip per side and tapping into a fuse in the interior fuse box. I have another video on that on my channel.
Good Luck!
