SO I was looking at the prices of Focus RS's because i saw one over the weekend. I found a guy who was selling his Miata RF and he had this to say.

IT IS AN AUTOMATIC, it does have paddle shifters though the stick shifting is comfortable when in manual mode. Fun fact if you turn off TCS it will disable the kickdown function on WOT for a fully manual experience.

Is this true for our cars as well? I am at work so I cant find out until later today.

Interesting, I need to test this with the TCS off, I will drive later today and share my experience as well, if this is actually true then... YES!

Update: Too good to be true, A/C Off—>TCS Off—>Manual Mode ON and the kickdown switch still downshifts you to the most optimal gear and RPM.
