To me, it is a matter of principle. My experience with Mazda is that they are very good quality, so I would expect nothing less than a perfect car delivered to me. I would ask them politely to replace the part.

I really am looking forward to taking delivery this week or next, and expect to see perfect quality as I have experienced in the past.
