I changed the engine of my 2010 mazda 3(Auto Transmission) about 2 weeks ago, during the testing period i realized the acceleration does not sync with the speed, it takes about a second or 2 to attain the desired speed after the accelerator paddle has been depressed. Now the engine revs at a higher state before transition from 1st to the 2nd gear occurs and the performance is not as quick as i expect of it. what could be the possible cause?:shuriken:
@Frnch ...i havent gone to the dealer yet. There was this loud clapping noise from the engine and difficulty in starting as well. Engine goes off after running for some few minutes. My mechanic told me there was a problem with the tappers.
@Orange....if it is a torque conversion issue, what do i need to check?
