So it's a beautiful day out and I decided to finally install my Road Magnet springs and Koni struts. I thought the hard part would be banging out the control arm but I couldn't even get that far. It took me 1 hour to break free the 14mm bolt using WD40/Kroil, a hammer, and wrench. The 17mm was too rusted and I could not get that to move. I ended up giving up and put everything back together and called it a day. Wasted about 2-3 hours :(

What do you guys suggest to get that 17mm bolt free? Should I invest in an impact wrench?

hmm...I'm going to try spraying more Kroil on it and let it soak for a day. Gotta go out and find a bigger breaker bar and cheater bar....stupid New England weather.

Be stronger young padawan I have done it twice without issue, to get the strut out if you have a thick chisel stick in the bottom rear in the little gap and push it out and have someone bang on the control arm. That's what I did the second time and it took half the time. And spray the struts.
