The multi informational display in my 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 stopped working 2 days ago. I did a lot of research and tried a lot of things to try to get these displays to come back on. Both the colored screen on the left (the one that displays radio presets, mileage, nav, etc.) and the red LCD on the right are not displaying anything, however, the radio itself still works. I have tried the following things:

1. Disconnected the battery for 30+ minutes
2. Removed the ROOM 15A fuse for more than a minute
3. Replaced the ROOM 15A fuse with a new one
4. Cleaned the contacts of the ROOM 15A fuse in the fuse box
5. Removed the head unit and confirmed the wiring harness is secured in all three places
6. Removed and reinstalled the AUDIO 15A fuse in the interior fuse box
7. Removed the nav SD card and reinstalled it
8. Whacked the top of the dash above the display 0:)

I was initially very hopeful due to so many people having success with removing the ROOM fuse, but that hope has very quickly turned to frustration. I really don't know what else to do at this point. I will be trying to get the recall on my warping dash taken care of soon (as soon as my local dealership gets the parts) and maybe I can get them to check the connections on the back of the screen while they're in there, but who knows if that will do anything. Has anyone else attempted all or most of these things to no avail? I really need some direction here.

did you ever figure this out? My 2011 is doing the same thing but I also have no sound. Radio lights up and the light flashes when trying to adjust volume.

Hi there,

Have you ever figured out what the problem was? My 2013 Mazda 3 stock radio and cockpit display are dead too. Mileage display, interior lights, everything else works though. I don't think it is the fuse :(
