Hi all,

I have 2 months old M3 Revolution. Today I came to the car and couldnt open it by the smart key. So I had to open it by the regular key. Sat down and tried to start. Nothing. Tried to turn on the interior lights, nothing. The car is compleatly cold and dark. :surprise:

Is the batery dead? Or what?

Thanks for helping

My friend's 2014 Mazda 6 sport wouldn't open with the remote key. I used the normal key to open the car but nothing would happen inside either. Replaced the battery. Jumps to life quicker than new.

My own car: doors wouldn't open. Checked the flashing light on my fob and it wasn't lighting. Replaced fob battery and it was only that. Later replaced the car battery when car would struggle to start.

If you don't own a voltmeter to check you can always take the battery to your local auto zone
they will check it for you for free and even charge it if its still good
