Creaking/rattling sound when lightly pressing the gas pedal, or when going from R to D. Video attached.

Hello,
I have Mazda 3 2021 Sedan that has creaking/rattling sound somewhere in the driver dash (below steering wheel) when I lightly press gas pedal and the car starts moving. It lasts 2-3 seconds only. It doesn't happen if I keep pressing the gas pedal while the car is stationary (like in neutral), or not turned on.
Also, same issue can be reproduced by going from R to D and that is what can be heard on video. (you will hear shifting gears, and then the sound that I'm talking about start at 0:02 and again on 0:07).
I know the sound is mild, but its bothering me as its occurring every time when car starts moving, so like after every light etc lol
FUNNILY ENOUGH, my dear dealership couldn't reproduce the issue even though I also sent them the video.
Any idea what this could be and if I can DIY fix it?

I've had that issue on my 2021 turbo sedan, as well as the 2019 that I no longer own. On my 2019, I would get that sound when both getting on and letting off the throttle at speeds of 35-55 mph. Drove me nuts, and I spent countless hours disassembling the entire dash and shoving foams to fix it, all to no avail. Also became a problem in my 2021 sedan as I got to around 55,000 miles on the odometer. This time around, it's a lot quieter, not tied to throttle input, and happens intermittently; so I just live with it.

Looks like a somewhat common issue... but gonna be a challenge to get a TSB issued for something like this.

Oh wow so this issue has been dragging since 2019 and they still didn't resolve it on 2021 model?!
Have you even complained to the dealership about it?

The problem was that the creaking was intermittent, so diagnosing it was very difficult.

I had a pretty good relationship with my old dealer & service department so they seemed willing to help. I showed them the video and did a drive with the technician but I couldn't replicate the sound on that occasion. I gave up eventually since my warranty was expiring soon and they had already helped a lot by taking care of lots of TSBs without a fuss.

On my current 2021, the issue occurred well after my 36,000 mile warranty expired, so I haven't bothered.

But honestly, things were put into perspective when I experienced similar rattles in a 2020 E-class that I drove for the summer ($65,000 car). Now I'm just grateful for what I have at $30,000.
Mine started doing this to a few months ago. That or I just didn't notice it until I got rid of the rest of the rattles. It sounds deep inside the dash up near the firewall, not one of the outer trim pieces like most of the rattles. It's definitely triggered more by engine vibration instead of rough roads. It's quite annoying but I'm not sure I want to tear that deep into the dash to fix it.

My 2023 Mazda CX-50 is having the same issue, exact same noise, it appeared around 20.000km mark, just getting worse day by day
Any update on the issue? Mine is getting worse day by day
