I remember seeing a thread on here where someone with a Snowflake White Mazda 3 had a clear bra installed. It wasn't a 3M product, and someone had told be it was far better and nearly the same price, but I can't find that thread anymore. :(

Kinda wanna schedule an appointment soon.

Thanks in advance!

I got Xpel a few days ago on my snowflake white. Got full hood, front bumper, side mirrors, and all door edges. I'm happy with the quality but was kinda pricey. I also had my tint done at the same time.

Most companies use Xpel now. It is very expensive. I just went to my friend's dad's shop and got 3M installed on hood, bumper, mirrors and door handles.

Not sure if you're asking me but I got the Xpel for 1k. Can't tell you if it's worth it or not but seeing how others are having paint problems already, I decided to go for it.
I got a steal of a deal since I knew the person.

$800 bucks for undercoat, rust protection, cloth protection, paint protection, and 3M!

Might have been my post about getting the Xpel paint protection. I think its worth it, looks better imo then the 3M product. Longer warranty too.

I put 3M on the edge of my hood and fenders but have more rock chips in 4 months on the rest of the hood and bumper than on my previous car of 8 years. I'd definitely recommend you go for a full covering if you can. Wish I had put the money towards it when I had the chance.

Thanks guys for the responses! I'm booking an appointment, but the guy won't give me a quote until I take possession of the car, which is in a week or two. Odd.

So now some bad news about clear bra's... I recently had to remove clear-bra protection from a Lexus SC430 that was 3 1/2 years old and looked like it had cracked paint on the car and it was a bitch to remove with a heat gun. This is in sunny florida and the car was a champagne color.Don't know what brand it was but it wasn't easy. Just want you all to look into the long term effects of it thats all.

What kind of maintenance did you do to the clear bra? My installer recommended I use 3m performance finish wax (since it doesnt have petroleum in it) several times a year and to use 303 aerospace after every car wash.

My shop didn't install it, we were just asked to remove it.
