Hey guys, did some detailing with some friends today and I wanted to clean my engine bay..

I've done it in the past with my old car, but not with this car yet. I realize that the engine has a lot of electrical, but I'm wondering if anyone has sprayed down and degreased their engine bay yet

Wrapping stuff up, precautions, etc.

I haven't had to do a full blown engine detail like that yet. It's still relatively new so all I have done wipe it down with some waterless-wash and all purpose cleaner.

If you are going to spray it down, at minimum, wrap up the alternator. Then with all the other connections, if in doubt, wrap it up.

I have used Scrubbing Bubbles in the past....works great!]
+1 on the bubbles. No need to spray down afterwards. Spray the bubbles let them sit and wipe it down.

I may try this, however in the link that was provided about the bubbles, he did hose it down with a garden hose, and didn't cover/wrap anything.

You should probably want to wrap some of the components right?

Just be mindful of where you spray.
