I found some sill plates for M3 2014 for $30
Stainless Steel Door Sill Protectors Scuff Bumper for 2014 Mazda 3 Axela Hot | eBay

The OEM sill plates are $100+ . Is it worth buying the $30 ones ?
I vote no, not worth it. If you want decent quality non-oem then look for platinum instead of stainless steel. I've bought 2 different sets of SS and both have quality issues and over time developed rust spots. I've seen platinum versions run about 20-30 dollars more but are a little tricky to source. You probably have better luck with gen3 than I did with gen2.

I will say the ones in your link do look to be better made than mine were..may not rust but it's the risk we run with cheap stuff. OEM may be only guarantee with quality and durability over time.

I brought them. It looks nice on my car. I dont see $30 anymore... I think the price went up to 50 now. The back seat plate might need little pressure when sticking it but it will hold

How difficult was it to wire those in?
I had them wired for me :cheesy: Didn't feel like crawling around in my footwells in the winter. I got a good deal at a local shop that has done lots of work for me.
