Please forgive my ignorance but what is this? Code dump from a ECM firmware? Or a readout from a ECM? Always curious about how a engine computer thinks.

In modern cars it's not all about ECM. Each system (engine control, safety, dashboard etc.) have it's own module with separate chipset, firmware and configuration (AsBuilt data). So we are reading and modifying some parts of these configurations by accessing them through standard OBDII/CAN interface.

Hi,
I have the same car, 2017 BN witout adaptive-Lights-Option (only the normal LED-Frontlights) and I enabled the HBC-function with the excel-file. It works perfect.
Within the extra adaptive-Lights-Option there is HBC integrated and always activated.

The problem I'm having is I can't find the as built code for this car as it starts with 726-01-01 it's a Japanese built American 2014 Mazda 3. I'm looking for the DRL code

I was able to disable the drl using the button combo but cant reenable it.

I used the exel sheet and changed the values so that drl is on and bambi is on. I wrote these changes and checked to make sure they posted but no change to what the car does. Before on my aftermarket headlight both the led halo and the front lights would turn on as soon as I put down the estop.

i need a bit of help, trying to understand the forscan a programing new features, so ive downloaded my IC as built, opened in notepad, copied them in to xls sheet and the values are not recognised? also, if i do any changes in to my as built, do i have to put my VIN in to CCC Converter or can i do it without it?

sorry, me again, managed to sort out some config with the xls sheet, enabled in IC some features , basically same features on few collums but when i tried to load them in i've got this message... so didn't upload them in to car... dont know if to continue or not....

Hi,

I think you have to load / upload data from IC-Modul AND from FSC2-Module (Camera-Module). Please use an Original-Excel-Software (Microsoft365 online-tool, I think use for free). When you change your data in IC and FSC Gen2 there is a new "general-checksum" in line 702-04-01 in IC-Modul. This Line MUST uploaded too. For me it is to long away to remember the complete steps. But it works with the Excel-File. Dont change to much. First HBC only, reload it and test it at night. Then maybe next part, seatbell-sound on/off, "autolock when driving", LKA etc. Dont change all in one step, to much errors possible.

yeah, trying to activate the HBC only, but the XLS sheet doesnt give me the option for HBC only, just combinations of LDWS/HBC etc, etc and HBC only is with question mark ...

Hello guys, I have a CX-5 2022 2.5L Petrol with 2nd Gen FSC, MRCC, SCBS-F and 7-inch IC, after reading through all 332 pages, I have some questions.

I have front & rear parking sensors with overlay, from my understanding, if I see PSM_MZ module in Forscan, I can activate SCBS-R and DAA, is that correct?

so finally i've somehow managed to activate on my BN High Beam Assist and LAS/LDWS just enabled everyting on in that sheet that has something to do with my required functions... BTW in Forscan the Load Factory ABT means that it will connect to some Mazda Server and download original ABT for my vin code ?

So I'm trying to figure out my issue and I tried to edit some things on my instrument cluster. Changes are definitely being written and when I reload the module by reading it again it definitely shows as being written. It does throw some errors no matter which module I write when the module restarts. Even with these error messages if I read the module back from a clean slate not loading it from anything it shows the changes. However nothing happens. None of the changes I make actually make a difference. I'm using VLinker maybe that has a problem? Should I use a different adapter has anybody experienced this problem? This is a 2014 Mazda 3 iSport hatchback.

actually, i have the very same problem, did some IC and FSC changes, but want to go back to original factory state with original ATB back-ups or Factory Load ABT in Forscan but nothing is happening in IC or FSC? still the same last uploaded config, using Forscan 2.3.50 and OBDLINK EX car is mazda3 BN facelift

starting to be a desperate a bit.. activated on my 2017 BN Sport Nav High Beam assist, and LAS/LDWS, everything is working fine for let say a week, then all of the sudden ( actually happened again today morning (dark) on my way to work) high beam on, LDWS light on also with smart city break on ... camera still worked fine, no problem reading traffic signs, ... after work, turn engine on, no lights on dashboard, HBC working fine, no signs of LAS/LDWS, checked Forscan and C1001:98-02 fault... erased it, didnt come back, but not sure if everything is working....

I must say I failed big with OEM front sensor retrofit.
My car is Mazda 3 HB BN 2017 with already-fitted rear sensors and visual representation.
My module is GMC8-67UU0.
My harness is pretty weird (not the same as BM - my connector is way bigger but I was able to identify 10V pins for front sensors)
That means my harness is full - when I disconnect them got errors the circuit is shorted to ground or opened - I believe that means the wiring is fine).

I tried to change only bits 720-04-16 B2 b3:0 b2:1 as my vehicle is fitted with FSC2
and then I'm losing completely the whole parking sensor system. No more overlay on the MCU and the beeper is not working too. No PID's. Whole system is dead but... NO DTC.

Is there any other place responsible for front parking sensors? That is very weird why after front activation my rear is gone. I wasn't able to see the front layout at all.
Also, I added an activation button (whole panel with heated seat control - I wasn't able to see it working at all) changing bits b3b2 for fsc1 options throwing Invalid configuration - I believe 01 is the only correct option (originally 00)

got an extra question: as I put my front back (I need a working car to survive) can I still play with asbuilt without front sensors connected?)

Ok, I crawled under the dash and checked my module.
And here things are getting intresting...

Forscan says:

PSM_MZ - Parking Sensor Module
Part number: GMC8-67UU0
Calibration level: GMC8-67UU0

but my module is B61A-67UU0

And the connector which looks like it has all the pins fiilled:

does it mean I need to replace my module anyway? Even when forscan says it is completely different?
