To activate Stop and Go MRCC:

For those who own 17+ CX5 or 18 CX3 equipped with non-Stop&Go MRCC. Here is the instructions that I learned from a Taiwan Forum to activate the Stop and Go . Many 17+ CX5 owners have been thoroughly test it for few weeks along with LIM function and works like a charm..


(1) Download and install the latest Forscan release that can be found on Forscan website
(2) On 720-04-17,
change b1 of B2 from “0” to “1” (70 --> 72) and then
change b2 of B4 from “1” to “0” (24 --> 20), finally
have the hexadecimal value of B5 minus 2 to get the new checksum (4E --> 4C)
(3) Update the global checksum on 720-04-01’s B0B1 and B5 accordingly based on the changes made above
(4) Run Forscan’s ABS Relearn / Initiation with Forscan step-by-step instructions
(5) Run Forscan’s SBS/MRCC Relearn / Initiation with Forscan step-by-step instructions
(6) Clear all DTC errors and all set

So I want to activate this stop&go function. How can I reprogram in ForScan?

I wonder if I could ask you a question on the Auto Door Lock Mode menu visibility in MZD for my CX-5 please?

Using the latest spreadsheet I've enabled auto door locking for my car (2.2 150 SPORT NAV AUTO 2WD - May 2018), setting R_BCM, as follows:

9D52 0005 E195
A504 C368 089D

to:

9DD2 0005 E115
A504 C368 982D

Auto locking works as expected (lock on drive, unlock in P), but I don't see the Auto Door Lock Mode sub menu (as seen in this thread) in the Vehicle > Door Lock section. I've left the car overnight and it hasn't shown up.

How can I enable the Auto Door Lock Mode menu?

My MZD version is 59.00.540 EU N.

Thanks for coming back. OK, mine seems to be set to N/A.

Original data for my 7B7-02-01:

0038 1098 B051

I've tried to change it to:

A038 1098 B0F1

But Forscan won't write that data. I get an error message (Writing blocks failed - incompatible configuration) and the interior light blinks, when it tries to write that data. There is something it doesn't like about my modified data for 7B7-02-01. It will write the original value no problem.

Any idea what's wrong?

I just checked your values... it seems to me that you forgot to change 7B7-01-02 B4 b3 to value 0 (Auto Door Lock = On = 0). New correct value should be: 7B7-01-02 A504 C368 9025

...and if writing blocks still fails, try to write each block individually and not all blocks at once. I think there was (perhaps still is) a problem with the button "write all blocks".

You are right! I looked so many times at the spreadsheet, but I totally missed that one!

Once that was turned on, it accepted the write to the 7B7-02-01 block without any errors. So the car must validate the parameters and reject them with the incompatible configuration error if they don't have expected/valid values for the enabled features in the bytes.

My car now has the menu and the Mrs is very happy

Witam, jestem nowym użytkownikiem forum i operatorem Mazdy cx3 2019.
Proszę zmienić kod licznika z usługą na unijny.
Próbowałem zmienić licznik Forscan w bloku IC 720 04 01 z wersji amerykańskiej 2400 0000 0060 na wersję europejską 3400 0000 0070. Niestety wyrzuca mi błąd "wpisywanie bloków nie powiodło się - konfiguracja niezgodna" Czy ktoś może mi w tym pomóc temat

BF - is located in Block 4 of IC module.

If you look closely, you'll notice, that Block 4 has multiple bytes that are not editable, and inside of them you'll see BF 01, BF 02, BF 03, etc.
You can always watch Tutorial on how to use Excel file - it explains a lot.

Thanks after changing to BF03 4000022000000 the AFS error U2300 problem is gone but
still lights not working well .

Maybe I should still change blocks C103 380039092400 (org. 380039091400) and BF04 30C200440007 (org. 314400000000) I am afraid to change it, can I damage something?
