Hello: I have a new 2017 Mazda3 GT coming in a few weeks. It has arrived in port of Tacoma. However, I'd like to ask if anyone knows if a cd player can be installed in it. I have noticed Mazda Canada still offers this option.

I definitely could be mistaken but part of the new interior redesign required the USB ports to be moved up under the dash where the CD player used to go.
I've seen some 2017 models in other countries that still have the old style center console and I think those still come with CD players.
I was personally worried about it at first until I realized you just need to buy a USB stick with all your music on it and plug it in. Between smartphones and USB drives nobody needs a CD player anymore
For me, I just picked up a slim stick for $10 and you can barely see it.
