Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forums, and to Mazda 3's (my first car).

I recently got myself a 2013 Mazda 3 I Touring Skyactiv. Everything's perfect so far.

One minor issue that's kind of annoying. I have my second generation iPod touch connected through USB. Everything is fine with it, except I can't play the previous track. I can skip a track but when I turn the tuner dial counter-clockwise or hit the tuner on the steering wheel, it just starts the current track right back to the beginning no matter how many times or how fast I try to get to the previous track.

Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

Have you tried double tapping the previous track button? Or even pressing it a few times in rapid succession?

When I play from an mp3 cd on shuffle, there is no way to go back to the previous track so it could also have to do with your phone. Is your phone set to shuffle music? Have you tried another music app?
