Hello all,
I changed my cabin air filter few days ago. And one of my friend told me it would be a good idea to start the car to remove the dust while the cover was opened.

It worked well but now I have a check engine light. And OBDII and Torque tell me there is no fault code... And when I reset the fault code, it comes back after few miles.

So, what should I do ? I think it's not a big issue but it's annoying to see the CEL.

Huuum. But what code could pop up after changing my cabin air filter ?

Also, someone had the same problem and he solved it in reconnecting the computer ???

I don't understand what it means ?

I think he meant to say, he remove all the dust and stuff from the area where the filter is. Not actually blowing dust into the car.
No, if you turn the fan on without the filter, all that crap goes into the car. Kinda defeats the purpose of the filter in other words.

Ok I think the CEL is for another problem. Im still investigating but I checked my fuel trim and O2 sensor and something is definitely wrong.

I will open a new thread.
