Bluetooth "Searching" Constantly

I just bought a Mazda 3 i Touring hatchback, great car. But, when I tried to connect my phone via bluetooth, it is stuck saying "Bluetooth searching" constantly. The dealer even tried disconnecting the battery to reset everything, made no difference. When I hit the "talk" button nothing happens. When you go into the "menu" via the radio controls, bluetooth settings is not there.

Suggestions? How can I reset the system???

Have you actually paired the phone? You need to make sure the phone and the car are "talking" together. Hit the phone pickup button on the wheel, then when prompted, say HELP, then there should be a "Pairing options' follow the directions and go to bluetooth settings on your phone.

Sounds like you are using the AUX button and its searching for Bluetooth audio
