The left one on my new car works fine, but the right side sometimes does not cancel after the blind spot is well clear of traffic. Eventually, the warnings go away, but so far I can't find any pattern. Any ideas?

I get an occasional false alarm from my passenger side too. It's not very frequent and I haven't noticed anything that could be causing it.

It normally startles me a little, as I'm not expecting it, and I just double check my blind spot visually to make sure that it is a false alarm.

Mine does that too. only on the right side as well. I've noticed it's when the car passes really slowly... I just turn the noise off so it doesn't get annoying

Mine's right side is less accurate too. I don't rely on it so it hasn't bothered me. If a dealer visit will definitely fix it maybe I'll consider it, although I don't really want to deal with them updating my CMU.

When I use my bike rack, I've got more often false alarm from my right blind spot monitor than my left one.
