In this thread should be more than one bin file.
Hello Tristan, look, I have tried with several .bins from here, I only get the frozen Mazda logo or start the pendrive with the update, the problem is since I am in LA, I need the 4an update, I also used the bin of the YouTube link that everyone mentions and the same As a result, the FW links are down, is there a problem if I use a LA 4an update?

Para la recuperación, no importa si utiliza la versión ADR=4AN o NA o EU. Cada CMU puede manejar cada firmware de la región. Después de la recuperación, puede instalar/actualizar a la versión 4AN que desee, si así lo desea.
[/CITA]

I can't solve it because the radio stays in a loop, I load the .bin, put the fw 70.00.100 and it restarts again

GOOD AFTERNOON
I reprogrammed my cmu, changed the ff x 00 and saved the program and reprogrammed my chip again everything went well until that moment, when I went to install it in the vehicle, I installed it, started the car, the screen turned on, it asked me for the installation package, I put The USB with installation package 70.00.100 read it and started loading but when it reached 1% it turned off again and the screen remained at zero again.
can someone help me?

Good afternoon
I am trying to recover my cmu for having installed the installation package incorrectly, I reprogrammed it using the CH341A USB programmer, everything went well, I changed the ff to 00 and saved the modified file and then reprogrammed it, then I proceeded to my vehicle. I turned on the screen, it asked me to insert the USB with the installation package, it installed 70.00.100, it started well, it reached the percentage of 1% and then it turned off and went back to a completely black screen, can someone help me?

I have an old CMU (2014) from an M3 with the Black Screen Issue (ROM attached):

I tried to change FF to 00 in the original .bin, but it only showed for a short time installing 0% and then that install was successful and that I should restart. Of course I had the according firmware files at the usb stick. Afterwards Black Screen again and nothing happening. After checking the 00 changed back to FF. So for a new trial I have to change FF again to 00. I can repeat that many times.

Values:

I also tried other *.bin files (also rom-513 and also the same firmware version 59) with changed FF to 00, but these behave differently. They show "Validating" and then "System Failure". And these do not change back 00 to FF - they stay at 00.

So my guess is that some chip is broken and that this CMU is dead forever and can not be revived.
Or has anyone else another idea?

Hello, try to restore it with the initial version v33.00.500

Hello, i hope you are doing well. I fail update on mazda, i was going from version 59.00.100 4A N to 70.00.100A, but i make a mistake and jump install fail safe, just go directly to reinstall, then the installation restart when go to 2-3%, now the system ask for usb to continue install, but nothing work, so i think chip is corrupted, i have the programming chip clip, but i didn't have a rescue.bin, can you help me with files and next steps? thanks in advance

CHIP is not corrupted, your system is already in recovery mode and waiting for a specific point in memory to continue the installation. There's a very small chance it'll find it. Invoking fail-safe recovery by changing a byte to the 0x10000 address won't make a difference.
If you instead end up with a Black Screen there's a good possibility to recover it.
I recovered a few, but only on the bench. It was impossible to do it in the car. No, I don't have a system. I have to try many versions from several regions until one erased NAND recovery point and completed the installation.

I've read this thread from page 1 to last. But haven't found solution yet.

I have mazda 2 sky 2015. My firmware originally had v42.00.500, then I upgraded it to v56.00.513C. It was a successful upgrade. And then I tried to tweak with AIO Tweak, but my flash drive just didn't read well by the MZD system. I just re-plug over and over again. Until I have bootloop MZD (I know, I was so stupid).

So, I ended up buy CH314 USB Programmer, and other stuffs so that I can reset the hex in the CMU chip or whatever it is. I did write the chip using someone else's .bin in youtube (Ride & Live channel) --does until this I did correct or not?. After flashed, now I put back my CMU to my car and my USB with v56.00.513C firmware update. It goes to black screen with "Install Not Successful..." and then switched to "Validating System Update Package 56.00.513", then rebooted to "Install Not Successful..." and back to "Validating System Update Package 56.00.513" again. Back and forth just like that.

Which step did I do it incorrectly? Is there any solution for me?

Thank you in advance.
