does anybody have any idea what brand/type of big brake kit that would fit the 3rd Gen Mazda's?

Brembo certainly - look for the user with heavily modded three with 2.2l diesel engine, he has one, but this is certainly going to ruin your wallet...

Why do you want them? The stock brakes are pretty beefy for the size of the car.

Also bbk will affect what wheel size you can run, so your oem or winter might not clear rhem.
