I'll be upsizing by 1 and be going with enkeis 17x7 inch wheel with a 45m offset. I own a 2012 mazda3 I sport. What's the best tire size to put on this kind of wheel? I've been seeing 215/45/17 but just want to be sure. Thanks in advance (:)

I'd go with the 205/50-17 personally

215/50/17 unless you wanna go 215/45/17 a 50 will give you a little more comfort. 225 will bulge a little on a 7inch wide wheel

I still believe 205/50-17 is the best option for the size of wheel he has.. If he wants 225 he should go up to a 7.5 or an 8 inch wide wheel

How come its going to throw off his speedo anyway. I'd rather have a more meaty tire as well too protects the rims for those stupid mistakes you might make in the future

It doesn't throw it off that bad it's only 0.2 inches bigger in diameter than stock.. Even the 225/45-17 is 0.1 inch bigger in diameter..

And in terms of the sidewall bother 205/50-17 and 225/45-17 has the same sidewall of 4inches
