Me too (re Machine Gray). Not to dark to loose the lines of the car and not too over bearing. Add a little Red pin striping ind you have perfection.
And that is exactly why so many new car reveals are in a medium metallic gray!

But again all that matters is what we individually like for our cars. My last three are bright/bold yellow, metallic silver and Soul Red Metallic. They all bring forth a smile when I look at them.

I just got a 2014 mazda3 iGT in Snowflake white pearl mica.. awesome color, looks phenomenal in the sun and at NIGHT catching all the light from signs and businesses. Personally i do love alot of dark metallic silvers and grays and blacks, but the white pearl kills it here. Also the white and red colors are actually more expensive and is an extra charge on the sticker price since they have the pearl coating and are unique from the other colors. The red and white seem to be the 2 signature colors Mazda is pushing. I really wanted the red, but got a great deal on a white one that was available and fully loaded. Love my pearl white mazda 3, especially in the sun! Plus white looks bad ass with tints.. get it all storm-troopered up!

My wife recently mentioned she's still glad she chose the white pearl. Washed it a couple of days ago and amazed just how much the white finish does shine and sparkle. Just returned home to NYC from a 2 week 3200 mile road trip down to NOLA, Nashville and back home thru NC and the cars appearance stayed pretty clean. The occasional rain helped as well and didn't run into any dirty roads. Admittedly, I'm anal about keeping the finish clean and the bug juice off so I do bring along my wash mitt packed inside a zip lock and lightly rub the car down a bit when there is an opportune time during or after some rain. There might even be several hidden video tapes of me taking one of the waste bins from the hotel rooms and even filling it up with water...I'm crazy that way. Of course, I return it back to the room dry.

Black when clean is awesome... work to keep it that way but well worth it. I've always had Black cars/trucks until this car...

went with Machine Grey... on this car... crystal clean right after the wash/wax black was nicer but Machine Grey looks better most of the time
