Instead of vinyl wrapping or plastidipping the belt line moulding, I decided to get the OEM black moulding found on the lower trim levels. Before I start the work of pulling things apart, I want to check if there's a best procedure for removing/disassembling the belt line moulding.

Has anyone pulled their moulding strips off? Are there any other trim pieces that have to come off first? Did you use any special tools, or have to unclip anything in a certain order?

My 2018 M3 SGT has a bleeding Hydraulic tensioner - water/alternator belt. Great handy downloadable manual from Curt1's link. . Now to get a offset wrench.
