My brand new Mazda3, touring, silver with black int. Look at the VERY annoying unintended consequence of the chrome at the base of the shifter.
When the sun comes from one direction, it is laser like blinding.
Thinking I’ll paint it.

I get the same - only thing I DON'T like about my new 3. Looking for solutions... I keep a small towel in the door pocket and toss it over the reflection when I'm blinded.
