Hello Guys, I have a 2004 Hatchback.
I am trying to install a back up camera on the rear plate late area. However, I don't know how the wire of camera should go from underneath the car to inside the card so that I can connect the power wire to the tail light. :frown2:
Does anyone know how that wire goes from underneath the car to inside the car?

Many thanks!

Dunno about the M3, but on my M2, there's a lid in the trunk with a rubber plug behind it (near the right rear light), where the cables for the radar units etc are passed through. I was able to push the camera cable through that.

I just installed a backup camera in my 2006 hatch yesterday. I drilled a 1/4" hole in the sheetmetal on the upper spare tire depression area (as high as possible), used a rubber grommet to cover the edges, and ran the cables in through there. It was a tight fit getting the RCA cables though (one at a time), but they did fit. I am going to fill in the remainder of the hole with RTV this week to keep water out.
