Hey guy been searching the forum with no luck but my shift knob "leather" part on my itouring automatic is beginning to fade and discolor was wondering if anyone has replaced with a aftermarket one or modified their original. The 2014 has a push button to change gears so was wondering if anyone had luck in replacing theirs. I assume the thread size is m8x1.25 but my only concern is the push button aspect. Still exploring ideas might just wrap it. can anyone chime in who has replaced.

Ive not replaced mine but have had it off and to remove it you pop out the button and remove a clip, it is not a screwed on knob.

i believe both compatible with 2014 skyactiv models..
i've seen owner from China installed it and work well..

Well that price is cheaper than here in USA. The shift knob is an OEM MX5 Miata knob for 2016-2017 models. Cheapest price I found is $180. But if I am gonna pay more than $100 I wanna know its gonna work

yeah quite pricey for knob replacement, maybe down the road... lol ill live with the faded one for now
