Hey'all.

New to the board, just got my 2019 Mazda 3 Sport GT.

I love the look of the album art display mode as shown in the link below. Sometimes it doesn't display it in this mode. I am using Spotify.

Anyone else have this problem? Or know how to change it to this display mode?

Looks like Apple Carplay uses the default Mazda display/player when using Spotify. I.e if you play an mp3 file with embedded images and tags set up correctly it will look just like this.

Just took a pic now, first image is an mp3, second is when I am using Spotify.

Gotta say Android Auto looks better for Spotify, also on a side note, just noticed my screen curves opposite to the US version

In the UK there was a GT Sport Tech version and there screen was slightly different. On the left was a camera that monitored you eyes and could detect if you fell asleep and on the left was a sensor that could see if you were wearing sunglasses and warn you if the light levels were too low.

The new version of Apple CarPlay is so much better. There is album art (even on Spotify) and you can have maps on the screen at the same time. The home screen is either the standard App screen or a multi-use screen with Maps, calendar and music all at the same time. It is in the iOS 13. I am using a Beta version and it will be awesome.
