Hi folks,

I'm coming from a world where I gotta break out the grease gun on the 4x4 and shoot some lube in the driveshaft/ball-slip-u- joints every oil change.

Are there any zerk fittings I can/should be lubing up? Plan to keep this car for my wife in the long run..

You'd find the same with any car now. Greasabe joints have pretty much died off years ago. They're all sealed now but this isn't a bad thing. So long as the seal remains intact, there's really no need to lubricate. Your old unsealed ones slowly lost their grease.

I personally don't find sealed joints any less reliable than the old ones. Just have to remember to check them is all.

And don't be like me...right after getting the car, spending 30 minutes looking for the power steering reservoir or realizing getting to the A/T dipstick is another dismantle altogether.
