Well they were only 10 bucks so I figured if anything I'll use them in the PC, no biggie. At any rate, I wonder if anyone knows of a USB Bluetooth/WiFi controller that I can use to basically control these lights via an app on the tablet that is now in the car...

A while back, I ordered this: [ame]http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B005EHHLD8[/ame]

While I haven't tried in an automobile, they're basically the same things that are OEMed for use in various industrial & commercial equipment. Very bright, very cheap, very easy to work with, and with some basic wiring skills you can chop the roll into multiple chunks. If you use the entire roll, it'll probably be a tad too bright. Great for trunk lighting though. Other colors are available.

Brad.
