Anything as far as headers or intake manifolds expected to be made for the 2014+ skyactiv engines?

None of the aftermarket headers have been repeatedly proven to make significant gains over the stock header. The 4-1 versions on the market actually kill low end. I believe ov tune found that a few prototypes hardly made a difference for the 2.0, and hence, not worth selling. 3rd Gen folks folks are lucky to have such a great long tube header right from the factory.

For intake manifolds, you have to ask whether the stock version is that restrictive. Well no, the limiting factors on the skyactiv engine are the small cylinder head intake and exhaust ports. The way to remedy that is via cams and porting. Bbr has shown that the cams help the top end a fair amount on the miata. So far customers running ovt cams are seeing the same. I have the exhaust cam installed, and so far noticing more top end, and it's not tuned too far yet. Cams will be your next most effective mod if you already have an intake /exhaust /high octane tune.

How much do you think the cams will affect engine life? With proper care and allowing cams to warm up enough and such.

The only company making cams is OV Tuning but they've sold all their first batch. On the Facebook tuning page is where you can find some people's results with their cam upgrades

Edit: they have 3 sets of exhaust/intake cams for 1150 and with tune 1700
