I’ve been wanted to re do the headliner and front pillars on my 2015 3 since I bought it. I don’t know why Mazda would make all the interior black except for the headliner. Anyways, has anyone tackled this task?

I'm interested in this as well. I know there was a post about re-doing the front pillars a while back but I can't remember what thread it was in

Did this to replace the sagging headliner on our old euro. Took me all morning to mid afternoon. Used an easy-to-maintain matte black pleather. 3M's headliner spray is the go-to adhesive or you can use contact glue, just messier.
Every car differs in details, but generally similar in procedure. Pop the pillars & remove the liner. Hatches are easier. It's best to familiarize & know where all the pillar clips & snaps are to avoid breaking em.
Sorry, this wasn't of much help. Hope someone can do a DIY guide.
