I everyone, does someone else has this issue?

I recently change my phone to a newer model with Oreo 8.0, when searching (with keyboard) a new address in waze it doesn´t do anything (just calculating route - see pic#1), but when i am using voice command it works.

Also notice when seaching (with keyboard) on android auto my phone appears a message like: Requires Password (sorry my waze is in spanish)

My old phone (lollipop 5.0) works fine, only in Oreo I have issues.

Try deleting the cache and restarting the application on your phone and see how you go.

Find the cache under storage. Find storage by dragging the Waze icon to the top 'App Info' hot spot. If that doesn't work do a re-install of Waze.

thanks, I already tried all above, even create a new user, verify phone number, test with wifi, installed waze beta, installed waze release.

Some else using Oreo and AA?

Hello,
This is a bug with waze latest versions, I also have it on my Samsung S7 Nougat. If you search via voice command it will work.
Others have it on official AA:

thanks, I thought only happens to me.

I´m guessing is a security option to force you to use voice search.

Same problem here using samsung note 8 oreo. Before was using note 8 in nougat no problem at all. Any fix about this issue ? @trezzdog44
