Cannot get Android Auto to work

First off, thanks for developing this, it's really useful and I'm excited to use it.

I have a 2016.5 CX-5 with the latest firmware installed.

I cannot get it to work. It launches via the Terminal screen, my phone reacts and connects to it, but then all I see is this on the screen of the car (see attached).

Any ideas what's going on and how I can get it to work?

Thanks!

I actually went through the steps of uninstalling everything, rebooting, then re-installing the components I wanted and now Android Auto works.

Should I try installing the latest version by itself over this version?

Most of the times when I connect my cell AA shows black screen. I have to repeat this procedure several times before it will be able to connect (sometimes I'm not still able).

1. Bluetooth pair;
2. Set bluetooth main audio channel;
3. Start AA HeadUnit;
4. Plug Smartphone (Nexus 5 with AA installed);
5. Smartphone screen goes black and shows AA title.

But headunit shows black screen after credits window.
So far I was only able to connect AA 2 times after 20-30 attempts.

Am I doing smth wrong?
Ditto, though I've never been able to get it to run.
