Android auto GPS problem

Hi,

maybe the GPS-antenna-connector behind the MZD-Display is not connected right, not clicked-in ... take out your navi-card and see if you get the compass in the Display. Plug in the Navi-card again. Problems ONLY when using AA/CP or when using the original-navi-card from Mazda?

Today after several resets the gps started working fine but I don't receive notifications anymore (telegram and WhatsApp) and I lost the split screen on google maps, on waze it works. The sd card is working fine now

hmm, the AA/CP-Kit is NOT from your local-Mazda-Dealer? Aliexpress/Amazon = China-replica. I think your USB-Hub between the Frontseats is faulty. 50:50 chance to get a working part. Many users here have/had problems with the USB-Hub from china. I think you have to return it and get a new one. Because, my AA/CP from the Dealer works fine, never had rpobs with the firmware and android-auto-software.

I think I got rid of the problems, finger crossed. Denied location permission to android auto app the gps is working

yes, it is a common issue when you instal EU soft on Japanese car and AndroidAuto box (with Iphone CarPlay there are no GPS issues because GPS is taken from a phone, not a car) . You need to buy a Chinese GPS antenna (very important to find right connector) - in this case GPS will work but still there will be DTC error or to buy the original used GPS antenna from EU Mazda.
