Try unplugging then re-plugging the dongle while the car is running, seems to reset the device and empty the cache. I have to do this about once every two weeks.
Android Auto Black Screen issue with AAWireless/Motorola MA1
Hi all, I have a 2023 Mazda 3 and have some weird issues with AAwireless and the MA1 adapter to setup Android Auto Wireless. The same issue seems to happen with both:
When I start the car, the infotainment screen is blank and I have to either power off and on the infotainment system or hold the home button for a few seconds to go back to the Main Mazda main then select Android Auto. This happens typically when the car has not been started for awhile. If I am constantly using the car, it seems to start up Android Auto just fine.
I have noticed that if I set the option for Android Auto to start "Always" or "If used on the last drive", then this issue occurs.
However, if I set it to "Default (set by the car", then the screen starts up fine but only goes to the Mazda main menu, then I have to select Android Auto every time.
I can't find a good solution at the moment. Any ideas?

I have a similar issue I think. Not sure what's causing it. I just press the nav button when the screen is black and AA comes on
