My local roads are pretty horrendous. So bad, in fact, that they've twice punctured the oil pan on one of my cars (not a Mazda). I don't want to have to go through that with the 3iT that I have, or the 3sGT that I might be getting in a few days.

I notice that Corksport has a fairly-priced aluminum plate, although it's only for the 2013-older models. Do we have any options for our 2014+ cars?

There was another thread here awhile back on this topic, there is a guy who is doing skid plates for the 2014+ models and I think he has a facebook page but no other website.

Here is his email: [email protected]

Awesome, just what I was looking for. Thanks. I'll have to get in touch with him and see what his pricing is like.

I talked to him yesterday, skid plate for the Mazda 3 runs about $372.00 plus the shipping cost.

The shipping cost will likely be at least $100....

I will likely get one down the line I constantly scrape my underside.

I'm lower than most (and have terrible roads on my commute), and don't ever bottom out to the point of needing an undertray.

If I was going to get a tray, it would be for teh aeroz.
