Hi all,

my mazda 3 2016 , does not cold at all ( it is actually warm) at 25C.
however, when i lower the temp control to 18C, it gets cold.

I do not want to set the temp control to 18C to get it works.
I do not heard and hissing sound ,and upon checking by AC specialist, he said there is no leaking.
I changed a brand new cabin air filter , and it does not help also.

any idea what is going on? I am asking as my local AC specialist do not know what is happening....

If a bad compressor / blower / leakage, it should not able to cold at all. Could it due to any sensor error or temp controller need to be calibrated?

Sounds fine to me. You are setting a temperature for climate control which will blend external air with either heated or chilled air to control the cabin temperature. There is probably no need for the aircon to operate when you set 25 degrees unless the cabin temperature is higher than this. There is no aircon hissing inside the car in normal operation.

With automatic climate control the temperature you set isn't necessarily the temperature that will come out of the vents. Think of it like your house thermostat. You don't come in on a cold night, turn the temp up to 30ºC until it gets warm and then turn it down. The car will take interior and exterior temps into account and blend the incoming air with heat or A/C appropriately until it reaches your desired temperature.
