you're both right to an extent. I wouldn't expect leaves in my cabin filter either. OTOH it did its job effectively.

I find that the cabin filter always plugs up faster than the engine one. I keep a few in the garage. Nothing but Amazon's finest for my 3.

Does anyone have any tips for how to get the cabin filter out after the tab to pull it out has broken off?
